Hang em High on demo

I would love to see this level on the demo
Its heaps of fun and is sometimes considered the best halo 1 level

i have seen other maps put in eg: A30, and alot of other custom maps so it shouldn't be to hard,

First of all, I just want to say that I despise Hang Em' High, but that's not the issue here.

There have been several debates (and a few attempts) at converting Full maps to Demo. As TaxiService said, the problem is illegality. If it was to be converted, only people who owned Halo Full would be able to legally use the map. Anyone without would be violating copyright (as they are using material which they haven't paid for; also could be called pirating).

Now, we could release it only to those who have Full, but it wouldn't stay that way for long. Leaking of the map would probably occur within 24 hours, and then we might get Demo shut-down.

why not just buy halo full online for like 20$ and get all the maps plus all those sweet CE mods/ maps instead of just playing demo cuz bloodgulch get soooo lame after like no time.

Mmmm i se your point. having the demo shot down wouldn't be good.

and about buy halo. i have been trying to find a copy of it for my mac but i can't buy it. they're selling universal binary ones but they only work on intel based mac, mine being a PowerPC. they only place i could try is ebay and i don' really trust that LOL. So from what i've read they're no longer making the game for PowerPC only intle

Universal Binary will work on PPC. It is not Intel Only.

Universal means that it will work in ALL the universe

i highly doubt it

...well, if in universe, we are only life forms, that term is right.

...but if there will ever be an "alien computer", it may works with even different elements! maybe a computer made of gas! <_< nothing that a human can imagine!

Make sure you can actually download the full game though. A lot of the online downloads of UB (universal binary) that I've seen aren't the game but are instead upgrades. They're exactly the same as buying the UB version, but don't come with a CD-key. And yes, you will have to burn a disc to play if you download it legitimately.
