Synopsis: Your former allies have betrayed you, and ditch you out in the middle of the ocean. Fortunately they left you with a powerful anti-grav gun, boots with the ability to walk on walls, and a super jump. Your only hope is these few items and the slim chance of some renegade covenant assisting you (namely some jackals and hunters). Good luck, soldier.
FYI: I don't have stuffit deluxe or anything, so until I get a new computer, all my mods must be uploaded in normal file form. Please don't complain, I don't want to hear that. When I do get a new computer, I will zip the files. Until then, get a faster internet connection, goddamnit!

Interesting. There should be a way around the problem. Do you still wish to have the MC fight the Covenant? If you don't, then you could change the MC's team to be on the Covenant.

The marines ARE on the covenant's team, which is why they betray you. I'm guessing you guys are trying to beat this on legendary, which I don't reccomend. If you play it on the easy or the normal difficulty settings, when they drop you off the marines will only get your health down to 3 or 2 bars before they all fall out of the peli (hilarious). This mod isn't really meant to be really hard or anything, but you'll find some really funny/awesome things (like for example, when you get to the point where you're coming out of the shaft to be picked up, and you get to where your hunter buddies are mid-shaft, watch what happens. I love that part).
Edit: LMAO, I just tried legendary... that's great, I didn't know that would happen. Anyhoo, as I said before, try it on a different, easier level. Sure, there's no challenge, but you'll like what you see. I guarantee it.

-.- I did, they're being killed by the marines, not the fall. BTW, some glitches(intended or otherwise) include:
1. Your gun can, at times, hurt you, due to its explosive (and fiery) manner.
2. Use the warthog turret lightly, overuse will result in death and/or your warthog flying away. Do not question why. (you didn't really think I'd make this THAT easy, did you?)
3. Hunters can no longer use their fuel rods. Your buddies are just going to have to get on by melee. (trust me, that's all you need, they still kick ass anyway. Besides, this is a good thing once you get to... well, you'll see...

I did the same thing as 002, in fact, that's how my Covenant Attack mod started out. But then I realized that I couldn't get past the landing beach objective so....

some time ago i did a mod where you play as an elite on SC, and must kill the marines etcetera... but it sucked, because there are only 10 marines in all the map! and what the fuck keyes what from an elite?
..then i did another mod, where everything was in the same team, and with drivable lifepods and spirit dropships.. but it sucked too...
..ooh i must test the engineers!
