My 40K figures

So I started painting my W40K figures. Go figure. I'm probably going to update as I paint more, for the moment I'm planning on finishing my Fire Warriors, then Kroot, then battlesuits and vehicles. I'd appreciate any constructive criticism (they look a bit different because of the shitty camera quality).

For these I still have to touch up the details like the lenses. It's a bit late right now but it shall probably be done.

Good job on the painting, but I suggest a different shade of yellow/gold, perhaps more shiny.

Get a wash on them, go over the armour again with the same colour, highlight.
I'd say use Gryphonne Sepia, and just put it all over the armour.
Pick out the details on the gun and such, for all the lights, choose one colour and stick with it for the whole army.

Funny you should say that, it's exactly what I did, down to the sepia. Unfortunately they were all out of blood red when I ordered, so the ice blue I'm using for the lenses and barrels isn't very apparent. I'm painting them on a black background now, though, so it stands out a bit more. Unfortunatly I spilled a good third of my wash, so when I buy a new pot I'll buy some red to paint over and add some Sept symbols.

The nid looks very nice too. You should buy some Spehss Mehreen heads and maybe limbs and add them to the base. Too bad Tau doesn't have any monstrous creatures that aren't Forge World.

I tried my hand at blacklining, I think it turned out pretty well. I still need to touch up the Piranha and paint the pilots though, and maybe give it a wash. There's a bunch of white showing through and some uneven blacklining, ignore that. I hadn't eaten all day and my hands were shaking.

Don't have enough space marine heads, and i'm going for no other army remains on bases, so it looks better when fighting all armies.
Also the theme is a swamp, a big, watery swamp.

Liking the colour scheme, especially on the kroot.

I have a list in Google Docs. It's basically a battleforce plus a piranha and a battlesuit.
I would go for a darker blue, but as of now I only have ice blue. I'd rather do it in red, but they ran out of stock as I said.

Dark side of the moon is amazing, but i think Division bell and the Wall were better.
