HELP!
OK for some reason ever tutorial I try for modding the halo mac demo never works. Here is an example:
1. Open your map in Eschaton 0.6.1\
2. Go into the weap tag class and select whatever weapon you want to modify. For this tutorial, we will be modding the plasma rifle\
3a. Main > Short Integers > Zoom Levels\
3b. Change the 0 to 1 or 2, depending on the number of zooms you can do before going back to regular view\
4a. Main > Floating Point Numbers > Minimum Zoom\
4b. Change the 0 to whatever first zoom you want (by default, sniper rifle first zoom is 2x, second is 8x)\
5a. Main > Floating Point Numbers > Maximum Zoom\
5b. Change the 0 to whatever second zoom you want, or leave it on 0 to have only one zoom
Then how do I save the god damm thing. I tried everything (save as UPH etc...)
Can someone recomend me some tutorials that take me from opening the the program rate to opening the Halo demo.

Re: HELP!
There's no need to save as every edit is written to the map automatically. I'm willing to bet you probably didn't back up your maps though. The save as options are for making patches. My youtube on rebuilding goes through everything you want.

=.=
No really, you don't need to save. Just make all the changes and quit when you're done.
P.S. Altimit01 MADE Eschaton.

Re: HELP!
Typically, new users have common problems. Not backing up maps or not understanding the need for multiple files for different mods, being unable to find maps (Halo full UB) and doing something to a map that makes it unsalvageable (and not realizing that they have to start over).
I'd link you to my older tut that walks through the steps very carefully but was designed primarily for full modders and involves links to a website currently offline (temporary but semi-frequent these days). I'd give the video tutorial a try since it's very straight forward and requires few steps.

Re: HELP!
You mean make them not spawn? 2 ways.
More time-consuming way:
1. Go in the d-swappa, and choose scnr and the only tag that's in the second column.
2. Find your weapon (Should be itmc) and null it out. This is better for only getting rid of 1 specific weapon. Like the left shotgun in blue base.
More efficient way, and you can later spawn weapons without an itmc that you wanna import (See mini-tut)
1. Go into the itmc tag, and choose what your weapon was.
2. FInd the weap tag (Should be the only one) and null it out. This gets rid all of that weapon the map though. It deletes all the shotguns if you null it, not just one.
[Mini-Tut] How to spawn weapons that don't have their own itmc
1. Go into the itmc that you want to sacrifice in the d-swappa, in order to spawn the weapon. (e.g. shotgun itmc.)
2. Choose the weap tag and swap it with the imported weapon.
3. If you used shotgun itmc, it will spawn in place of the shotgun. If you used plasma pistol itmc, it will spawn in place of the plasma pistol.
Have a nice day!
