Beta 1 is released. Most notably, this migrates the mod database over to MGM and users are being alerted to update through the lobby.

Release notes can be found here as usual.

Modzy is now also trying to host a dedicated server of his own, so we will see how that works out.

I don't have much more planned for HaloMD other than polishing up some things now.
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

Come play on the new Dedi, it cost money and demands more players.

How are you hosting? I didn't want to host off my home connection so as to keep the ping consistant. Plus a paid server has a wicked connection.

What are you using to host it? I researched a bit ago.

Beta 3 has been released. This fixes a bug with HaloMD freezing if it's unable to connect to the lobby. You can update from b1 or b2 by going into the menubar -> Check for Updates like usual.
I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!

Beta 4 has been released. If HaloMD is unable to connect to the master lobby server, it will try loading a list of previously known servers. You can update by going into the menubar -> Check for Updates as usual.

Hey guys, the MDrenamer works, but when i install the mod and go on HaloMD, I am not able to select the map. Is there any way to select the map? If not, can you guys make mods with different vehicles? thanks,
Shadow

In HaloMD, in the menubar, go to the mods menu and select your mod. Then your mod should appear in the map selection in-game.

This should be a good tutorial on getting started with modding. In it should include how to import a pelican.

To make HaloMD more efficient and less confusing, you guys should add a function of hosting a game on the launcher application.
To make it even more efficient is to add a function to be able to change the server name, password and so on while the server is running. Like HserverChanger.

Also, can HaloMD run on the newest Mac version, Mountain Lion? And what is the average ping that a client experiences while playing?

HaloMD runs on both Lion and Mountain Lion. Read more at http://halomd.net/

I average around 33-100 ping in the three MD dedis.
