About MAC mouse.

Post by T.N.Tee » Wed Oct 20, 2010 5:03 pm

The major problem of using the Magic mouse of MAC is not the only issue for me..i have logitech's G9 and i just wanna keep on gaming as i did on PC at least decently. So the problem is that.. even though i ve disabled the acceleration feature with "USB overdrive" it stills bothers me a lot. When i slow down my movements even just a bit... the cursor suddenly cuts down on speed dramatically and it actually takes me a lot of time to actually hover the cursor over wherever i want to move it..... it is extremely bothersome in-game (pretty much any real-time game..). So instead of having to move my cursor with sharp and swift movements of my hand... is there a way to fix this or at least configure that specific feature?

..and yes i do want to have the exact same feeling as with playing on a PC if possible.

Logitech mice are always tricky. I have one myself. I remember the first time I plugged it into my Mac, the speed was wild, extremely hard to control. If I remember correctly, I had to download a special preference pane for System Preferences from the Logitech site in order to gain better control of the settings.

EDIT:
Here's the piece of software I was talking about, Logitech Control Center: http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/584/3129?
I believe it was the speed multiplier that helped me a lot.
