How to play a mod??

Well, it's very simple, I download a lot of mod but I just don't know how to play them. I put the demos in the maps folder and the mod folder but it just dont works. help me please

rename your original bloodgulch map to something like bloodgulchoriginal.map, then drag the mod into your halo maps folder, and then run halo. If that doesnt work, well your mod is screwed

Right click, and uncheck Loop.
Right click, and check Play.

i knew it had something to do with that. theres this one game where you can click forward and not have to do anything to kill enemies.

EDIT: nevermiind. i tried it. that is funny. its like watching Spaceballs at ludicrous speed!
