Working Grapple Gun

This is a mod that lets you use the plasma pistol to pull stuff towards you or push it away.

Primary fire shoots bolts that pulls anything towards you the normal pistol does this too.

Secondary fire pushes things away from you slowly.

I cant really take pics because thats the only thing thats modded.

yeah thats the problem i cant remember how i did it :shock: :hammer: i am sure if you look in the file or if you just export it from the map it should be fine
and anyone who wants to use it can rip it from the map.

You changed everything to fire overcharged plasma bolts. The bolts have 100 initial speed and 5400 final speed. Force is 0.3. And I forgot the rest :D

how can you forget????? yarrrggg. Do you remember how you made it effect bipds and vehi? Alt helped me figure out that you edited something in the jpt! class that made it do...whatever you made it do. And I think you changed something with the material responses

EDIT: you aslo changed the forward velocity to 1000, and forward radius to 1000 haha

Cool, I didn't notice that. Also, the forward velocity and radius didn't need to be changed for me to drag vehicles and bipeds.

It's amazing how many things we can modify ;) But I still want my machine device control tags working properly :( Wait, I got it! *researches the full maps*

???you figured out how to do that??? like...you can make doors open from buttons across the map?

If your intention is to have buttons activate doors, then there is not much use in researching Halo Full maps with the tools we possess. These actions are very likely controlled by scripts, ergo you will need the Halo Editing Kit, which is currently only available on Windows.

Well scripting in the SP maps would also be very useful. If Conure's Halo PC Scripter works on Mac that'd be a good place to start. Of course getting them in is no good.
