The only way I've found to actually import stuff is too swap all of the dependancy's of an .scen item (or whatever it is i imported) with all of the tags that match the "imported"

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
Whenever I import stuff from other maps it doesn't show up in any dependency swappers. I always rebuild after I import stuff, should I not be doing this?

one. This is, however, pretty pain-staking for a lazy - ass like me. Is there another way to do this, or should I not be so lazy?

do you check the tag type like (scen, vehi, weapon, proj) check it in menu to make sure it has been succesfully imported in the right place

Post with what you are specifically doing and what the actual problem is. Stuff is far too vague and am really not sure what you mean by swapping around in any .scen. More info generally means better responses.

Ummm..crazyshroom, your signature stretches the page. I suggest you resize or simply take out the image.

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
May we please have the option of having the tag importation process not overwrite existing tag references? In other words, an option for it to not create duplicate tags, but to instead reference already-existing tags.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's amusing how there's a lot of people asking for the same features. Yeah that's on the to-do list.

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
What I was trying to say before is that i can successfully import tags and make a new build with them, but i can't swap the scenery in swordedit. I'm kinda brain-dead
this time of year so maybe someone could give me an alternate method to spawn stuff?

Did you active the scenery you imported?Tokage wrote:What I was trying to say before is that i can successfully import tags and make a new build with them, but i can't swap the scenery in swordedit. Now you see what I mean when I say I'm brain-dead, I have no idea what that is, or how to do it!
EDIT: I forgot to ask, Where'd you get the tourney banner?

Re: Eschaton 0.7 released
When you expand the map, don't move it at all otherwise Eschaton will crash at 63% in rebuilding.
After you rebuild the map, close it then re-open it otherwise when you rebuild a second time, Eschaton will either crash, out of bounds exception then crash, or only 7 MB of a map will come out leaving it incomplete and of course when you open with Halo Demo: CRASH. It may just be my system.
For some reason, I imported the Pelican and then opened Halo Demo BEFORE spawning it and: Mario Theme Music. EXTRA LIFE! Touch an enemy. Crash-crash-crash-crashity-crash!

Um, either I didn't understand what you just told me to do or it wasn't an answer to my question which is "how do i activate scenery?"
Are you telling me to rebuild the map again?
