Biped Camera Angle
Q: Does the Halo game engine limit the biped player's camera view so that it must be justified upwards? In other words, when you wall walk on a ceiling, your view doesn't move upside-down but remains justified as if you were on the ground. I notice limits even while in vehicles. But try testing the A-Wing in my Jedi Knight II mod.

Re: Biped Camera Angle
Unless within a vehicle, your view is fixed to avoid rolling.
Re: Biped Camera Angle
Camera Rolling only works in first-person perspective while in a vehicle:

Need it be said how amazing such functionality would make the game if it existed with bipeds also?

Great minds think alike, Taxi
I haven't tried that, but if the method involves a vehicle's camera TRAK tag, then it certainly would roll in first-person mode if the metadata values (and animations, if constrained) were adjusted.
Try flipping a covi turret upside-down, allowing entry at any angle by adjusting the minimum flipping yaw (I think) and then making the seat first-person mode. In fact, I'm gonna go do that now...

Re: Biped Camera Angle
Nono, i mean swapping the bipd tag in the globals to a vehicle. o_o I used to do that when i had to go around a map set in space i was making (but never got to release) but i don't remember if the camera could roll. (Probably not though now that i think about it…)
I'll try that right now. With a banshee.
EDIT: It appears that simply swapping the biped with a vehicle won't allow your camera to roll.

(yes, if you press E you flip yourself.)
Needs more research!

Picking up frag grenades while a vehicle disables secondary fire.

Parkour rolls would be epic here...

Re: Biped Camera Angle
The "head" value of the biped is used for most player camera behaviors, and since the vehicles don't have a "head" value, they don't behave the same.
