Olly, what I did was started with the bloodgulch 3ds max file available at hce.halomaps.org. The object that this has is a bit smaller than it should be and needs all details added to it... which is what took so long in the workings of this. I've been researching a program that seems to be forever lost now that would convert BSPs to .obj files (or something like that). It was associated with the Quake III engine, I think. Anyway, there are other max files I can take a look at from halomaps.org and fix them up like I did here. Of course, I'll have the advantages of experience, now, so it shouldn't take quite so many hours to accomplish.
I'd appreciate if y'all could research converting bsps to workable model file formats for me, as this would assist me in creating a multiplayer game of the halo full campaign (of course the experience would be totally different from Halo Full since it would be modded heavily and lack enemies besides other spartans; players would do tournaments though, it could be fun competing in several different campaign levels, this is something you can't even do in Halo Full)... amongst other things like renditions of other games like Jedi Knight II, Quake and Unreal Tournament. It would be alot of work to do this anyway without needing to "guestimate" everything from scratch.

Eschaton seems to b0rk the model horribly; all other efforts with bsp conversion on my part have failed miserably.

this is a sucky bone but try halomaps.org, they might know how to convert it.

Actually, I retract my statement about Eschaton breaking the models. It exports them fine, it's just that I have to convert them in Wings 3D to the 3D studio format before using them in 3ds max. Otherwise, it appears broken.
So yes, I can convert other bsps to scenery now, although it'll take a while to fix them up, even more time than bloodgulch took. And they'll be without any scenery or other tags also.
