Finally Mac TeamSpeak!

I don't know a whole lot about this thing so here are 2 noob questions.

1) Is it free?

2) Will it work with any game or just a specific game?

Yes and yes.

You find a server you want to play on, most decent servers advertise their Teamspeak IP, you connect to it with Teamspeex and then connect to the game.

Teamspeex was released.

The version on some websites has a bug that keeps Mac players from talkin to eachother but allows them to talk with PC players just fine.

The author has sent me the bug fix and has said not to make it public quite yet.

I have it even know he said it was for 10.4 (I'm still running .3.9) It starts up but wont connect to anything. I'm guessing thats because Im still in the ice age of 3.9 but I'll upgrade by next week. Has is worked ok for you so far Vir2l?

When I posted about Gizmo and Skype, I was being sarcastic.

And with any iMac previous to the G5s, any microphone added on (with the exception of the very few) was very low in sound quality and broke within the first three months. If you were to want a good headset, you would have to buy a USB port headset...which run in the 80s-90s.....

When you're a kid with a minimum paying job......you don't have that kind of money.

would it be possible to make this team network thingy work for ghost recon demo, or is it a seperate server to game ranger

TeamSpeex is a seperate app from GameRanger or anything else. It can be used with any game. Although to use it you will need access to a TeamSpeak server or be able to set one up yourself. Currently the only way to set one up yourself is to have a PC to run the TeamSpeak server.
