i still dont know whether or not im with the collective....... brim PMed me and asked if i wanted to help and he said i would get temporary access to the collective forum but... i still dont have have it

Umm..if you read the novels, the shield world is not literally a shield world, i.e. a world covered by a shield >.<
It is actually something like a different dimension. The Forerunners created it so when the Halos were activated (to destroy the Flood) they could preserve the other lifeforms in the universe..

You didnt have to read it out of the novels. Its in Halo 3. And thanks for giving away the rest of the game. Luckily, I have gotten to the shield world (which is fricken huge!!!) and I had found out about the new halo being built to replace Installation 04, which is hilarious, cause then there was no point in destroying I 04.

Has anyone here read Ringworld by Larry Niven? Now THAT is a fricken huge "planet". Its 3 million times the surface area of the Earth, one million miles across with 1000 mile high walls at each edge to hold in air. It has large squares that orbit the sun the ring is built around, and these create solar energy and a day/night cycle The ring's radius is 93 million miles and its 1000 meters think. WOW.
