In always I think of the bad half of this. It may be egotistical and we have no reason to be soooo protective on information we find. Although are we trusted to use this information for the better of it?>Shadow< wrote:Sorry, but that sounded a little bit egotistical. Why should you be the only one taught these things? As everyone could not stress enough, Halo Demo modding is dying. If we don't let the public learn a few new tricks, Halo Demo modding is as good as over. >_>
You have to understand the consequences of this. It may sound egotistical but in ways, it's to protect. The demo modding community has been a quiet and unknown group to the modding/map creating community in whole.
If we are to have information that includes (Pmi, rebuilding, ce tag extraction) wouldn't this mean taking the work of others perferably Custom Edition group and call it our own in a desperate attempt to revive demo modding? How is it a way to create new and original ideas when originally it was "taken" from others? And then be known to only steal the work of others if we are ever to be heard as a whole?
But then again sword has something in stored in the summer <_<, wonder what it is? All I saying is I hope that the community is responsible enough with their actions w/ the information we recieved. We can't stay hidden forever, it's only a matter of time.
Think about that. I may be saying this too soon but ya you know what I mean.
