Do I really have to download the pack, and download Wings, and import everyone one, just to see what they look like? Screens, PLEASE!

I havnt got in-game screen shots, 'cus i can't work out how to inject models, if sum1 could steer me to a complete step by step guide, then i might stand a chance.

No, no. He means open them in Wings3D and take a snapshot. Then upload those to photobucket or something and post them. Lets see the snipers.

Due to the lack of polygons... it doesn't look like you would intend it. This is the Auto Sniper model in the model pack. I did make it auto, by-the-way..

Hmm.. Lack of polygons. Thats a new one. Ill start trying out models at school using Wings3D PC. See what I can do.

btw, The new Firefox says that "Hmmm" isn't a word. In fact, typing is almost like typing in word. O.O

In other news: I wont be on much for a long while. I was caught at 3 AM On a Saturday watching movies on Youtube. -_-
So my computer is indefinently taken away. Lucky for me, a freind has a huge list of proxy servers ready for use at school to get back to these sites. :P

Its lacking a proper bitmap and its holey. Weird. Maybe Altimit knows? Seems he worked with models and stuff on full... Got any insights?

PS: Blender is a POS at school. No Python backing it up. Wings is ok.

*smacks head* :hammer:

Wow, me stoopid. Theres so many more free modeling programs (including Rhino Trial) I could use at school. How in the world did I miss that?

Offhand from the pics I'd say that some of the surface normals weren't saved correctly. Halo doesn't render backfaces so there might be a face but it's on the wrong side. That or the models really suck.

Sure thing!

http://files.filefront.com/Models_Packz ... einfo.html

PS: The reason it is 1.4 MB, even while zipped, is because it has these other awsome sniper and pistol models (not by me) that I couldnt find a link to. So try those out also. On top of that, another of the three folders (one for mine, one for the other guys, and one for characters) contains models from all Halo 1 basic game character including Grunts, Elites, Special Elites, Hunters, MC, etc... It also has a Halo 2 Master Chief model. I take credit only for the stuff in the folder labeled "Drac's Models".

Enjoy!

Note: Models may not be properly formatted to inject. You may need to triangulate them...
