Dev board obligations

Post by slaaneshie » Fri Jan 05, 2007 4:33 am

Ok, i've done most of these, but im a bit stuck on how to make the assault rifle shoot frag 'nades and how to move vehicles.
ATM the red team ghost is infront of the tank, and the red team turret is half buried.
And the tank shooting MCs, ive used the dependency editor to change the tank weap shell to bipd Cyborg, but it still doesn't work.
please can sum1 help.
I need to have a certain amount of knowledge to get into the dev board, i can only gain knowledge by learning =)

In the dependency swapper for the tank shooting MCs, all you had to do was select the proj then change the tag class to bipd. Then select the cyborg bipd. Works for me.

Good times...

I have a question: To get into the dev board do you strictly have to do what the sticky says at the begining, or can you make any mod as long is it isn't a copy or stupid?

You can make any mod but you need to show you can do the things in the requirements. For example, you don't have to line up all of the vehicles behind the base if you have already moved the vehicles to some other place. Either way you can still tell you know how to move spawn points.

I've used the hex calculator to find all the grenade offsets, but when I edit them nothing changes, the assault rifle still shoots them to my feet.
Can someone point me in the right direction without giving be the actual answer, tyvm

I'm sorry. This is really bugging me. Do not type tyvm please. Just type out the damn four words. Thank you very much! There that is all you need. Not trying to be mean but it is annoying me. It doesn't take that much energy either.

umm you dont edit the nades in hex to get them to fly.
you need to use plugins.
give them a speed.
