Using HMT to Replace

Those four bytes are the ones that tell what version of the game it is, right? HMT opens Halo full, so the entire Header can be replaced. But by changing what version it says it is, you fool HMT.

so if someone hacked into HMT it could be changed to read the demo header.

mavrick, mavy, mav, mav, mav. tis sad that u did not become succsessful in doing this because sword once told me that this would work and it does your halo map should look like this.

and since i cant upload the image i will show you the bytes

yeh for some reason whenever you replace the rocket with a vehicle its camo'd. But its not css.

It's just some glitch really. Vehicles aren't meant to spawn where a weapon is supposed too.

And, for all of you that really are tired of having to change anything to open a map in HMT, then I'll upload my "special" map, and let you all have it. All it does is it allows you to play it in Demo, and then open it in HMT at the same time without having to make any changes.

Who wants it?

I know what it is syp. Achronos told me you and him found it out. Is 008-->008, 010-->010, 014-->014 full-->demo? is that right?

Not really. Its a 4 btye change. I encountered it while fooling around in HMT. I then booted Halo and played the map, went back and edited, then played and realized I hadnt actually had to change the header. Yay for me.
