Import a tree from a map into BG. Then, apply the Sparkify Patches. Then, paste the edite header strings. Then, open it in SparkEdit, and swap a big tree with a scenery object. Then, duplicate that a lot. There you go.

It's a little more complicated than you think. So, if you don't have any experience with any of that, you really should look up things before you do it.

I'd help you, but time is of the essence. I'm goin' to celebrate thanksgiving at a Mexican Restuarant.

first i dont know how to import.... or does it just involve taking the hex from the tree and putting it in BG?
secondlyi dont know how to use spark edit... and dont have it as im on a mac.
3rd of all i dont know how to edit header strings....
4th i dont know how to duplicate. thats what i have been asking for someone to tell me how... i can get trees into BG but dont know how to make more of them. i have swapped trees with every object like boulders and stuff but therre isnt enough to look like a jungle.
can some one give me the 16 byte code for a tree (like the ones in forest mod) then i can try work it out by finding that code in the forest mod and looking at what they did.

You need to learn how on your own like most of us did. Sorry to rain on your parade.

The trees that you see in the Forst mod, are all imported from another map. Then, they were swapped with a scenery object, and then duplicated, I'm sure with SparkEdit.

Everything has it's ups-and-downs, that's life. Once you learn how to Hex, use HHK, HMT, and SparkEdit, then you'll know how to make Bloodgulch look like a Jungle.

yes syperium i do believe i should learn this stuff myself with the help of tutorials. BUT as you said, i need spark edit to duplicate the scenery so i can make many trees. and i need a pc for that. which i dont have.. isnt there a program for mac that does the same thing?
could i duplicate it using hex?

Well, now hold on a second. There is a way to duplicate scenery without SparkEdit. From what Beast tells me, you need HHK, HMT, and TextEdit. I have to figure out how to do this, but that's why I use SparkEdit now, XD.

The thing that I just don't understand, is finding the new spawn points for the object. If I can find that, then I can duplicate items perfectly.

Syp, can you make a mod in which you add only 1 scenery (just add a log next to one base...) I think I know how to do this is hex, but I cant figure out the second part. I am fine with needing to guess spawn points, but I want to know how to actually make it work...
