Well, I already have Adium on my computer. I just don't like it that much. We have already gotten so far off topic, lol. I'm most likely going to host the files (hacking) up tomorrow since I've been grounded for 4 weeks and I have 9 more days to go until it's done, that's why I've been gone for so long and I'm not even allowed on the computer. I only get on when my parents are out, so, yeah, I'll host the files tomorrow since I don't know when my mom is getiing home.

Are you on an intel mac? My friend had this same problem when I tried to load Adium to his MacBook.

Err. Adium is a UB and has been for a while. And the 1.0b15 (beta 15) just came out. http://adiumx.com/beta/beta.html See if updating helps. However, I still can't connect a Jabber account.

EDIT: And the persistent crashing problem with Xfire isn't quite resolved yet.

I hope that you will be able to resolve this and be able to use Adium. It's a really good program, and one of my all-time favorite OS X apps.

Also, if you guys have myspace blocked at your school and want to get onto it. I got a new exploit of mine.

Instead of www.myspace.com do this:

www1.myspace.com

Trinity, learn how to get past filters for something more important than MySpace. If you wan't a challenge, get past this. The only way that anybody at my school has discovered is to use a proxy website, and the list of banned proxies grows larger with every passing day. Or, tell us all how to enable the Run button from the Start menu.

Better yet, write us a spiffy new hacking program, whaddya say?

Yeah, same at my school. The 'Run' command is disabled too, as well as registery editing.

If you want to get to blocked sites try www(1-100).website.com.

Try a input the website name in "website" and try every number 1-100 until you get to the site.

Start at 1 then go to 100.

The numbers after the www are some kind of "Website Hosts" that directs you to the URL you specified in "website"

Try it out.

Another blocked site at my school as well is YouTube.

I haven't tried, but I think that if you download Netscape (for PC) the ports used for AIM will not be blocked. I have been unsuccessful at enabling the Run button in Windows.

Here's a easy way to find program files and such on a PC:
1. Find a shortcut (alias) to an application.
2. Right-click on the shortcut and select Properties.
3. You may have to click on a different tab in the window that pops up, but look for a button that reads "Find Target" or something like that.
4. Click it.

This may not work, but the crummy Windows computers at my school don't disable this, while going to C:\ProgramFiles\ is blocked.
