When? I'm busy most of Friday, and all Saturday until like 5:30 or 6:00 PM.
Re: Extending the Life of Halo Modding
Are we talking EST? Maybe use the mod hosting subforum.

These are my reverse-engineering findings thus far: http://www.halodemomods.com/mediawiki/i ... ndings.txt
Requires basic assembly knowledge (this is x86 assembly) at the least to interpret, and being able to use GDB helps, and knowing C also helps.

nil, I tried using Splunk to analyze the program data, but couldn't really figure out how to use it. If you want to learn how to use it, I'm sure it would be useful to you.

It can be used to analyze network traffic. I was intending to use it as some sort of packet sniffer and reverse engineering tool of grandeur, what I envisioned would be a super version of Apple's developer tools like Shark.

Yeah. I don't believe you. Give me a link to the software to see if we're on the same page. Wireshark is a packet sniffer, Modzy has been using it to some degree for this I believe. Shark from Apple is a profiler, it's not going to help us.Sparky wrote:It can be used to analyze network traffic.
