Found the thing you have to change to make it all a solid color.

Is no one going to actually say what it is? What do you have to change?Mota-Lev wrote:Guys I, Found the thing you have to change to make it all a solid color.
@Vegerot: Dude. I've been following this site for years. This isn't a cheat site. Modding isn't necessarily about cheats. Whoever said that modding enhances the gaming experience, I agree with you whole heartedly.
This is why I'm just throwing the question out there. I'm working on a mod of my own, and I want the Active Camo and Overshield to function differently to normal. It's just occured to me that people actually think I'm going to head out there and use this in games...lol. Hell no. That's almost as bad as an aimbot. I only need it for my map.

I've never tried it before, but I believe you need to change the following:Euphoria wrote:As do I. But the sooner someone tells me this, I can get my mod released. Thanks.Beast O' Teh Sea wrote:No, actually I'm not. I like using camo.

This is exactly why the KW official map is protected. That way people can't go into it and change alot of the tags so that they make it so that the active camo is not invisible for them, and every gun has some kind of zoom, and you can always find the flag/ enemies.

Lol "protected".
Re: Modding the Active Camo? Help?
The official KW map barely has any protection at all. I was even able to remove all its protection when I was still a nub.Fortune wrote:This is exactly why the KW official map is protected. Just to bring up a bit of old RAEG: I reported that the KW map could be unprotected like nothing, back when CH was still mostly alive, and said they needed a new one. I was flamed to bits from all sides and threatened with being banned. They then used MY PROTECTION APPLICATION to create new versions of KW (Crossing and Radar fix) using the map I UNPROTECTED (they asked for it), and gave me no credit. CH is a bundle of rotting arse holes.

Re: Modding the Active Camo? Help?
Well, this is what I mean. No one here actually knows how to edit that bitmap tag to make the active camo change the invisible effect to a coloured effect. I thought this forum had experts on this sort of thing. Lol.2310 wrote:I've never tried it before, but I believe you need to change the following:Euphoria wrote:As do I. Take care, this is something that we know can be used to cheat, we trust you but not everyone here is so....... trustworthyEuphoria wrote: Well, this is what I mean.
