Seafire & Hostbot- New Series.

Post by Noodle » Wed Apr 08, 2009 1:50 pm

Well, I uploaded this a couple days ago. Perhaps I should post it here.

Episode one of Seafire's groundbreaking new Machinima, Seafire & Hostbot.

Seafire and Hostbot are hanging out in an abandoned district of New Mombasa, when Hostbot brings up the idea to make a machinima. Bored and with nothing else to do, Seafire goes ahead with the plan. But when Hostbot's immaturity gets in the way of script writing, things go a little awry...

Thanks for watching! And trust me, there are at least a dozen more episodes to come. If you like this machinima, drop me a line here at Youtube, or go right ahead and post a comment. Hopefully, we'll be on machinima.com soon!

Nice.

YOu might not want o have used the computer voice. Since arby 'n Chief its kinda overused.

You might also want to consider having some other actors *Cough* Me *Cough*

Otherwise not a bad movie.
The armaments which thunderstrike the walls
And monarchs tremble in their capitals.
The oak leviathans, whose huge ribs make
Of lord of thee, and arbiter of war;
Alike the Armada's pride, or spoils of Trafalgar.

I was not the creator of that map. I fixed the BSP after Mox QAR'd it.

Then I'll fix that next episode. Thanks for telling me Modzy.

And hostbot is called hostbot for a reason, Devious. >.<

Why does this use a bunch of lines from Arby 'n the Chief? o_O
If you are going to do that, work something into the script where one of the characters notices this and comments on it. Otherwise it just sounds weird, and I am sure that others will believe that you are being "unoriginal" or "stealing lines", even though this probably is not the case, and you are just making a reference.

Overall, pretty good. Could use a better framerate, if at all possible.

Good to see our forum ninja is still around.

This was pretty awesome Seafire. And yes, although he is part of Reverb and therefore part of Jester Brothers, he can branch out and start his own series. Hell, as soon as Bungie releases the Render Film Clip to Video for Bungie PRO users, Im signing up and popping out some Machinima that have been stored up for far too long in my ideas folder. Might try working on Portal: Halo Edition if JBP doesn't want to work on it. And Military Mishaps, Maptacular 3 (got beaten to it!!! >_< ), and Paradox. After watching that Futurama movie, I need to find some more time-things to twist into insanity. And I had a great idea using time and space and only one guy.

Who inevitably kills his future self to save his past self as it steps through the portal that causes the time paradox events. What a lovely thought...

Sounds good, although Drac we will do anythign you propose, as long as its GOOD. And I doubt they are not completely awesome.

We will do any machinima ideas guys lol, theres we just have a limit to the cussing and the content. I think the only machinima ive ever turned down was Mike's Imprisonment, mainly because it cursed in every other line and was all about sex and drugs. If we actually made that Machinima, we wouldve made a fool out of ourselves.

Just so Jacob knows that I can actually make films, and make them well.

This is all really interesting. You guys have some great ideas.

And I was wondering If i could join either of the machinima studios as an actor. Its a thing that's been interesting me for a while and I would love to help out.

Of course. I have been working (hard or hardly, i cant tell) on ideas for the scripts. The problem is I think too much and too large, as most of the stuff would have to come out of Halo 3... Also, wouldnt a Portal remake be just as awesome as Portal? But slightly more awesome since its not? Ahh... I cant just hear that computerized voice again. Of course, the problem with that is Machinima.com might not let you use Portal's original sounds. And a copy of GLaDOS just isnt as good.

What wonders can be accomplished when you go solo and not tied in with the regulated media?

Anyway, Ill be back to working on stuff. Its hard to balance schoolwork, homework, housework, trolling, noobing, playing Fallout 3 now, playing Halo 3, designing maps, making maps, writing machinima/ideas, watching movies, playing online flash games and keeping my parents happy grade-wise. And eating.

Since it is from a game, we can use it. And a Halo 3 Remake you say? When my first check from MacDonalds comes in, and i actually pay for my live and get the map packs, were starting that bad boy.
