i found something on models in the halodev forums. search there and you shall find a tut. i think it works for mac but i havnt tried.

Hmmmmmm.... hey Syp, about the skinning tut. ive done it already but it dosnt explain why my rainbow master cheif is in every mod i have and (how did i do it???) also in the campaign. also, everybody has a shade of rainbow that would be the color under the rainbow (blue shade for blue team, red shade for red team, greenish shade during campaign). got any idea on this. imm tired of rainbows. i want the standard chief again (though it does provide some visibility advantages).

You edited the Bitmap, that's why I said, make sure the bloodgulch.map is in your maps folder so that HMT can link BG to the bitmap. The MC is going to be the same for every level in Halo now with that edited bitmap. Lol.

I don't know anything about Wings3D. I know it's a modeling tool, that's it. I don't know how to use it. Sorry.

ok here is a tutorial that i know everybody that hasnt done it wants.

"Removing the end movie"

first of all this can get very complicated.

1.locate the demo.mov file in the halo folder.
2.drag the file to the trash.
3.play halo, quit halo and not have the stupid movie u have to skip in order to quit.

yeah but the movie sometimes would screw my comp up for some reason and it would take like a minute for halo to shut down.

I just hit space bar when the movie starts. That stops the movie and quits Halo Demo immediately.

i know that was my problem. once in a while i would hit space bar and it would freeze up for some reason.

Syperium, i think its enough tuts.Why make more for others?Modelings, skinning, new sounds, etc.These should be self taught, its pretty simple to do these things but yet no1 ever tries and mess around with em.I seen alot of tutorials for these sections on modding but no one ever searches.

I'll update my tutorial to the next level on those sections but i mite not..For various reasons.

And hellspawn ur getting on my nerves now, just shut up and mess around with it.Look how many spam posts on wings 3d u posted, god dam just use it.Dont expect someone to just tell u.
