so the spawn point map has coordinates in numbers such as -123.24 for example.
but how do i change this to use in hexedit or hexeditor?

first you uncheck the hex box and then check the swapped box. then the 4 byte codes of the coordinates will be displayed in the float data box.

Yeah, I was bored and decided to update the Spawn Point tut. since there were another 8 bytes which I didn't know what they did until few months ago.

So now it's like x, y, z, hr, and vr.

I didn't mention in the beginning, but I also added where the scenery spawn points are.

ok so how do i know where a place is?
i have used a tut given to me by yummy.
i now understand how to make teleporters.
BUT! to change the spawn point i do not know.
say if i wanted it at the pistol on red base. how do i find this location?
or i want some random place on the map.
how do i know what the place is in 16 bytes?
isnt that what a spawn point is? 16 bytes?
so the first 4 are x the second 4 are y and third are z the other four are the rotation or something.
so i have:
xx xx xx xx yy yy yy yy zz zz zz zz rr rr rr rr
how do i move it?
make it:
oo oo oo 3c 00 00 00 45 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 (thats just some random thing i made up...)
so that would move it to (x) 3c and (y) 45???
omg i cant work it out!!!!
hep me!!!!
could someone give me a list of places on the map?

First of all, I did send you a spawn point map.

So yes, he should've. Second of all, make sure you've highlighted the float, clicked swapped (because of little endian). If you're only clicking the 3c, then you're not highlighting the 4 byte float.

still question hasnt been answered....
there is only one float box...
do i only put one number in at a time then?
say put 42 in the float box hit enter and the answer comes up where?
is it in hex? is it in what? thats what i want to know. how to get it from 42 to an answer i can put into hex edit or hex editor.....
do i highlight the 16 bytes of a spawn point then put in the 42 hit enter then put in the -123 and hit enter and the line gets changed?
please! someone give me an answer that will help.
sorry if i seem naggy or something but i just want to know how to do it so i can get my mod start again and do it properly.

hit the "swapped" checkbox. select the first 4 bytes. this is "x". now go to the "flt" box and type the position of "x" that you chose on the spawn map. hit enter *important* (it wont change otherwards). now select the next four ("y") and do the same thing. Now the next is "z". The last two series of 4 bytes are horizontal rotation and vertical rotation (remember, 360 degrees). Hope that helps. :D

The entire 16 byte string is the location. It tells the X, Y, Z, and Rotation. Obviously the bytes explain the location in floats. You're making it too hard on yourself.

It would also make it helpful if you had A Bunny's Spawn Point Map. That's what I use when I don't have Spark Edit at the disposal,.

All of the decimals that are listed, are the floats. Those are the numbers you put into, for example, the "X" Axis; you'd highlight the four bytes, and in the Float box, you'd enter the decimal. Easy as that, Mavrick.
