1v1 Tournament

When do you want the tournament to start? What rules/maps, if any?

when's a good question...i think some time during one of the holidays...when every1 is more free and stuff would be a good time. or we can hold the tournament every winter, spring and summer holildays. we could host different maps based on the season. like siberian base and artic bunkers for winter etc. dedust and african village for summer! i dunt noe wut fits spring though, mb fortress but its too big unless we have a huge 5v5 game.

Deciding on rules and maps is the main aspect now. Once we get that done we can start the tournament.

rules, rules, rules....hmmmm
here's some ideas,
1v1, 2v2, 3v3 Games:
- Kit restrictions, no nade launchers =(
- no auto targeting allowed
- no show enemies on map
- no proxies or claymores
- any choice of primary weapon accept RPGs
- Random insertions

4v4, 5v5 Games:
- Any Choice of Weapons, both primary & secondary
- NO OICW, now dats kinda obvious

- no auto targeting or show enemies
- Random Insertions
- Proxies and Claymores r allowed cuz these are larger team games

Maps
1v1, 2v2, 3v3 Games:
- Bunkers Under Fire (Perfect for 1v1s)
- TD Bombing Training
- 101st Battle Field
i cant really remember anymore maps...but im sure there's more maps that are perfect for these games

4v4, 5v5 Games:
- Airport
- The Met
- Fortress
- Bunkers Under Fire
- Siberian Base
- Watcher's Wood
- Omaha's Beach
- DeDust
- Stronghold

Since I'm not really that active in RSD anymore, Hardedge you can be in charge of getting people interested in the tournament. I think 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3 would be good to start with. If alot of people are interested then we could do higher numbers. Or do you want it as a free for all on the how many can play in the games? Also, need to come up with scoring. Do you just want to go on wins and losses or points? Then there is the option of mods. That can be decided on by the players, but you must have different maps to compete. Give me a few days and I will set up a registration page.

It doesn't matter who is in charge. Someone needs to make the official rules and decide on a scoring system.

I should have the sign-up page done this weekend.
