i have an idea...

maybe we can make a plasma nade that never explodes.
when you walk on it, it will have a minimal explode delay, so it will explode immediatly

Also, this could be possible with my knowledge I gained when I created Senbon Zakura. I might give it a try, dunno though.

Here is a good way of making one:

Make a weapon
Make the speed of plasma grenade 0
Make the weapon shoot that
Add homing
The weight should be 0

When someone walks on it, they will get an auto-sticky plasma grenade that explodes in a normal delay

Yeah, that's the basis for senbonzakura, but senbonzakura used modified ghost bolts that appeared to be needles. It's tough to get the life-span/detonation timer just right, however. Something like this can be done with just about any projectile of you know what you're doing.
