i really wish some body wuold make a mod where you get to play as a hunter..
like in this pc mod vid for full:

the best way to get the 3rd person veiw would be to make the
hunters vehicels that can do every thing a hunter can..

Well your idea about making the hunters vehicles has far more problems than you can imagine. Mainly having to animate the models. I can only imagine a handful of CE modders could do that. I'd be much easier for someone to just import that hunter biped, model and related animations and then go about editing. But for 3rd person, that's not a mod, that was a hack he was using. The much coveted by mac players bitterbanana's 3rd person hack. It's an external program you run that edits the RAM of the halo executable.

For those who wish to attempt, this is the info from the video:

I modded a Hunter into the bloodgulch. Then, I swapped the meta of the Hunter, with that of Cyborg (MP)'s. In conclusion, I play as the Hunter.

Hunters cannot enter any vehicles, and they cannot pick up any weapons. But, they do have a fuel rod gun attatched to thier arms. To shoot, hold down the shoot button for a couple seconds and release.

So basically, PMI and meta swap (not d-swap).

Who the fuck would give a link to a .exe on a site like Mac Gaming Mods? I've never seen someone that stupid in all the time I've lurked and posted in forums.

My point is that the 3rd person he desires #1 isn't part of the mod but a hack, and #2 is a PC only hack. Chill the fuck out.

Well, actually the 3rd person thing should be very easy to pull off, from my standpoint. It can be done simply by d-swapping the trak tag of the bipd in question with the trak of a vehicle, say the banshee. Voila, 3rd person perspective! Now Altimit, enlighten me on why this wouldn't work?

Try it then. It doesn't work. Probably something to do with being a bipd not a vehi.

You mean .exe dosen't work on mac, an .exe isn't the only Executable file type .app is an Executable file, And besides he never said it was a working hack as there are none for mac halo.

It can be done, and has been to a certain degree using The Cheat! which is a general purpose trainer. These two topics detail the attempts: here and here (second one is mod development board). The main thing is that we don't have an easy way of doing such things. The Cheat! somewhat works, but no one I know of has made a working trainer on a mac, and we don't have the nice program that a lot of PC users have which let's you make your own trainers.

Wait a second. What if we used an HMT replace with the third-person view? We take the meta from one and put it into the other, and it still registers as the Cyborg trak. Could that work?

if you mean to swap the TRAK who is in MATG tag, it will not work.

Inject the mod2 for the biped into a warthog, change the warthog so driver shoots/mc weapons, null out other two seats, change speeds of warthog and acceleration to match that of the SPartan.

The animation of the bipedhicle is the greatest of your problems. I wouldnt' care if it happened.

Agreed!! nekos anoying spamming me and calling me a noob on MSN is a reson i quit she needs to learn to respect people and help out a bit and be a bettter modder i lost respect for her for calling me a noob for trying to explain that UB halo works on PPC and Intell she kept insisting it was intell only i was like why the fuck would i be using it on ppc if it was for intell only and btw i got 1.5.2 and UB 2.0.2

heres what to do

open hhk and then load map

then open swap drawer

then swap the meta of the cyborg and hog and then open our beloveed eschaton and swap out the model and colision with the cyborg

lol side effect is people can ride you lmao you will have 3 seats and those people will have 3 seats its like a chain lmao
