lets say you want to cover the whole ground in water... you cant just say "i want 100 gallons of water to spread out on BG" you have to take a cubic block of water, import it into BG, swap it with some scenery, and then duplicate that block of water and put the blocks of water where you want it, which is just as easy as taking a platform, duplicating it and putting the platforms where you want them
