Lighting is controlled by things called light maps. If you go into the bitm tag class and find the bitmap with the same name as the scnr, you can export each light map and edit it with any image editor.

The bitmap is called levels\test\bloodgulch\bloodgulch (It looks like yellow and orange splotches)

If you want to make it night-themed, I suggest using a dark gray and just covering the whole bitmap. That works.
