this is for newbies to modding like me . i am reminding you to keep back up files that keep records of defaults when modding incase of any major defects caused by a faulty mod. it comes in handy such as when today when i thought it would be a good idea to put a warthog in the campaign level "pillar of autumn " but accidently used a cinematic warthog for a model . long story short when testing my system crashed(but it sure was cool lookin though!) and was a very serious problem . i easily solved this by using a backup file containing the defaults as a reference to fix my error. so before you decide to make a new ambitious mod make sure to record the defaults (or make a patch prior to modifying the file)so incase you run into any problems you can go back and fix it with out any turmoil .
thanks for your time i just wanted to share my concerns with any noobs like me to prevent any problems.

Easy way: Keep your Halo Demo.dmg. Well, of course that's for Demo.

For Full I have an extra Contents on my desktop.
