Non-Blur Scope Bitmap

How easy would it be to create a bitmap for halo full were you dont have scope blur on the pistol and sniper which are very very annoying

YAY!!! MY LIFE HAS A CLUE!!!!!!!!





You dont need bitmaps. here's a mini tut of how to null the blur out (discovered by me! XD):

• open your map in eschaton.
• go to whpi tags, and highlight pistol's one.
• using entity style plugins, in Meta Editing go to "screen effects > Floating Point Numbers > radius out bounds - to".
• it should say "15"; make it become "1" (not 0. or it will screw the scope.)

here you are. now pistol's scope has no blur! :D


do same thing with sniper and rocket launcher.

I get no blur coz I only use vertex shaders with everything else on, no advanced pixel shaders means no blur

sorry for bump, but i need help with this.

when i try opening my mac universal binary halo full bitmaps.map it says "invalid file data." can someone help me out?

You can't open bitmaps.map or sounds.map in Eschaton. Only campaign and multiplayer maps and ui.map.

Oh. to chnage bitmaps open the map that has the thing you want to skin (make sure you have bitmaps in the same folder), go into bitm, find it and hit inject texture and pick the right file.

Also, the sure fire way to remove that blur is get your ass on an iMac G4 Flat Panel.
