ok before i explain it all. Just a warning this will prolly be a long reply
anyway...
first of all every map i try to create kind of has a storyline to go with it. In this case the plot is that the covenant are trying to take a top secret military base that was not destroyed on Reach during the battle, (i'll assume u already know the basic halo storyline).
as for the actual
map i was thinking about modding Timberland.map; bascially start by adding trees and covenant. Then expand the bases, making one a little smaller, (this would represent the covenant base), and one which goes back into the hillside. This would represent the military base from the plotline

. One more thing, although the map would include AIs, i believe that it would be best if the AIs mainly acted as obstacles to players, rather than another team.
The following are the things i don't know how to do, or even if they are possibe
1. Adding spawn points -- i don't care if i can't direclty spawn the AIs but at least add some more vehicle spawns so that there can be more or them
2. Redoing textures -- i think it would be very nice if i could add some scorch marks into the textures and in general make them more complex
4. Adding new bases -- i don't even know if this is possible, but i believe its been done and would play a key role into creating the map
ok. now i'll give a summery of features in the map.(Note: again i'll be modifying Timberland.map)
1. Covenant AIs
2. Addition to the red base
3. Pelican dropship at each of the bases
4. Revamped textures
