Hi-
This is a bit long, but it matters a lot to me so bear with me.
I had the worst luck and got myself kicked off the computer AGAIN right as we ordered an new one- A G5! After about a week my mom let me back on a little, but i can't play halo- possibly forever!
She thinks a: It messes up the computer, causing glitches in other apps.
This has some merit, as on our old G4 glitches did increase around the time i got halo demo, then more when i got Full. However, that comps is packed to the brim with software and it may not have been halo's fault... Regardless, I wont be downloading any full mods, which carry the most risk for viruses.
b: It's a waste of time. I will have to argue that one out for myself.
I a: tried to tell her that mac's basically dont get viruses, and
b: tell her that when summer arrives in 2 wks that ill have so much time on my hands halo wont be a waste at all
But no avail.. yet.
I need all your guys' help. I assume most of you have a G5 with Tiger, and would appreciate a few posts reassuring her that Halo doesn't hurt the computer at all, as I'm sure it must not. PLEASE!!!
P.S. If any1 sees any1 from my clan {jihad}, please tell them that i have be grounded and cant play for a couple of weeks. They're probably wondering. They may have Sesame Street names in all caps, such as ERNIE or BERT.
Evidence Please

I have been playing halo / halo demo on the mac for some time now and have had no problems or "viruses" that have resulted from it. I can reassure you that excess software is more likely to blame for your past problems than a video game. video games are made for people like us to have fun and do not mess up computers.
