It would be neat if we could edit the ui.map to do this :)

I have 3 folders holding MORE folders, and within those are holding maps.

Then I have a seperate folder holding my notes and probably more maps.

On my desktop I have generally about 3 copies of maps edited by hexedit, a bunch of pics, etc.

In my maps folder, I have 14 maps not in folders, 12 in another folder, 3 in another, 1 and a readme + Installatiton text files (Guess what those are), 7 in yet another folder, 2 in the next folder, 1 in the next, 3 in the folder after that, 1 in the folder after that, 9 in the second to last folder, and 4 in the final folder.

So, overall, I have about 44 files with the name "bloodgulch" on my computer.

Then, for maps in the folders, overall I have about 118 Demo .map files on my computer. I bet I've missed quite a few also.

Same here. :) It would be nice to have the computer do soemthing for you rather then making you do all the tedious work. But what would be even better would be an HHK for the Demo. Oh ya definetaly. :)

I also think that same thing. I wouldn't mind a mod manager. Lol. Be sure to make it in cool design too... hehe. Lol. Peace.

Add a feature to the list: Automatic unzipping. Keep all .map files as .zip files. Leave the .maps named "bloodgulch.map" but name the .zips after the mods. Then use the program to select one, unzip it, and place it in the map folder.

why? that would waste time and processor speed for when you are quickly switching in game, slowing the server down, creating lag, and making people quit.

Ah yes that would dramatically reduce the size of your maps folder. Good idea.

i guess that could be an option... like a checkbox to enable it.

Well we have some good ideas for this but is anyone making it? My knowdlege of programing is limited to Applescript and some UNIX. I can help is anyone needs but I can't write it. SI19 are you making it? Also there was a sort of post on clanhalo about it but clanhalo is acting up again so I can't find it.
