does any one have any idea how to make a gun shoot nades?

some one told me that you need to mess with the projectile speed

how can this be done????
this is only seamus the noOb for moding....

Replace the projectiles from one gun to the nades. This would be similar to replacing a vehicle.

You would replace the hex code for some gun's ammo and replace it with the code for the nade.

how would you find the guns ammo???

like say the flame thrower...

Trouble with that is they just fall at your feet. Think you need to change the weight to and somthing else maybe speed.

I figured out how to do it



Pistol bullet damage offset and its value (value is the one to the right)008559F0 4856164C

Plasma Grenage damage offset and its value (value is the one to the right) 0085C330 18AE2D4C

So then you take the pistol bullet damage value and put it where the plasma grenades damage value was. Then you take the plasma grenades damage value and put it where the pistols bullet damage value. then save and your done. so now the pistol bullet will have the damage of the plasma grenades explosion ( but you will not be able to see the blue explosion or the grenade.) but dont give out the instructions to people with out asking me please. also can any one please answer my posts on the dev board for halo? :D

Hmmm, that makes a pretty crappy nade launcher I'm pretty sure. Your just swapping the projectile there, so it'll probably just land at your feet and kill you.

Yes, I've made a grenade launcher, it took a while but I got it working. Many mods for differe things, but I got bored with it before I finished.

I still have the projectile going too fast and I forgot to make the weapon I used single fire at a time. That and I need to work with the explosion delay.

no the grenade did not fall at my feet and fyi it was not a crappy nade launcher exept for the fact that you could not see the explosion.

Yeah, you just swapped the damage so that the pistol projectile produced more damage and force, thus it is not a true grenade launcher.

When I'm home again I'll work on it and finish it.

Note: The mod or how to be done will not be released as it is not CSS.

it dose not need to be CSS. When I hosted a game with a semi-grenage launcher mod someone joined and they could see the effects too. So that was a big suprise to me. :D

one of the big things i want bout the nade launceh is the stick effect..... i dont know how this can be done.... i have yet to make a mod is there any way to make less guessing???
