Is there a way to make it such that we can automatically download maps not in the Halo MD database but exist on Galaxy Verge? Since it does have a lot of custom maps that some CE servers do host. Currently I have to manually download and add those maps in. But if this auto download feature can be added, then I think it would make Halo MD pretty much perfect.nil wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2017 12:50 pm I'm posting a candidate release to the next version of MD. It includes fixes to some memory leak & crashes, adds a Preferences option to use an alternate downloading mirror (galaxy verge; useful for those that can't connect to MGM's due to school filters), map list improvements. Once the build becomes official, this may be the last update I push (though keep note that 002 will still be around to push updates).
If you're more technically inclined and would like to save bandwidth, you can download the patch from 1.0.1, clone the MD repo from GitHub, cd into Delta_Distribution, and execute ./run to generate the new build onto your Desktop.

Re: HaloMD
Recently obtained a new 2017 MacBook Pro; Halo MD cannot be played online. Do you have any idea what's causing this issue?
P.S. I created a thread regarding this issue.

Re: HaloMD
Is HaloMD going to work on macOS Catalina, since apparently all apps will be required to use Gatekeeper?

Re: HaloMD
HaloMD is not going to work on macOS Catalina. The biggest reason is actually 32-bit support being removed from the system, and Halo Mac not being compiled to run as 64-bit. Note the Mac version of Halo has not been updated officially in a decade, so it's well in unsupported territory failing to fit in the near future.emanresu wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 6:34 am Is HaloMD going to work on macOS Catalina, since apparently all apps will be required to use Gatekeeper?

I am no longer active to Halo or MGM, and don't guarantee a response on the forums or through email. I will however linger around the discord room for general chatting. It's been fun!
Re: HaloMD
I love HaloMD and I enjoyed playing it so much, thank you guys!
Unfortunately it won't run on these days Macs because of their 64-bit operating systems. So I was looking for a solution for a quite similar experience. And I found something! I know, it's not HaloMD, but Halo CE (Custom Edition) runs on Intel Macs as well as on Apple Silicon Macs with CrossOver. It's not so super fantastic like MD has been, but it works and it's quite easy to get it running. I'm just happy to be back in the ringworld on my Mac.
