First up open your map in Eschaton.

Next select the proj categorie and scroll down (if needed) to the weapon\frag grenade\frag grenade and click on it.

After that, extract the tag using cmd e.

Then, expand your map.

When your done with that you just import the tag (be sure the uncheck the "Do not import copy" box).If you want you can also rename the tag by going scrolling down to the proj section and finding the tag you want, then its just a mater of thinking. Lol?

Rebuild your map after that.DON'T CLOSE ESCHATON!!!

When your done rebuilding you can open the map in eschaton (again).

Now go to the new tag you made and change the floats.

In floats there should be something named "acceleration scale".Right now it should be at two but change that to 0.

After that go to "maximum range" and change that from 10 to 25.

Then, change the "initial velocity" to 0.1 and the "final velocity" to 0.2

When you're done doing that you can just add it to the weapon you want and VOILÀ. You're done.

You gotta give it arc too...
If you don't give it arc, if you like bounce on something wont it keep flying forever? It would fly around until it's lifespan ran out, right? How do you even hit anyone? o_O
So, you should probably edit material responses too. Make it explode when it hits spartans and hogs and banshees, but not when it hits dirt or rocks.

Thanks ill work on that.
No, you have to make sure it has a minimum speed of 0 =, or it'll bounce forever without stopping until the detonation timer.

I've noticed that by modding but i made a mod on that and its not all that good (i think you should check it out)

When I made my grenade launcher projectile in my weaponset mod, I made the final velocity -1 and the initial velocity 1. I see that there's more ways to make a grenade launcher.

Bazuka, my floats are very different from yours. What version of eschaton are you using? And how do you import the tag ? And... how do rebuild your map?
I know I'm a nooblet, but hey- you made this tut for me so I might as well understand it... :D

I'm using Eschaton version 0.8.1 and i use starter plugins for this... also some HMT plugins and well most of them... When opening the map press cmd e to export.To rebuild you need to expand the map then add tags then rebuild after importing these tags... Remember to uncheck the "Do not import duplicates" box.Is that it?

cmd is the apple key. so hold down the apple key, then press "e".

To be more specific it means Command... you know like Command c for copy.But in this case its Command e for extract.See the point.

Ok so after I import the tag and click on it in proj 's it doesn't have any floats. Like all I have on top is reference swapper and then tag information.
There is no meta editor and nothing to work with below... Thanks for helping me out btw
