Odd things in halo documents...

I have recently discovered the section of my documents folder devoted to halo demo. I saw quite a few things called "blam.lst" i think there were about forty. In each profile, there was somthing called "blam.sav" also. I have not thought of anything in halo that is even remotely called blam. Any idea to what it is?

Blam is just the word that bungie likes to use. On the bungie forums blam is the csnsor. So if you sware it replaces it with -blam-. They like it so much they wanted to include it in the game.

Judging from mikes post, they are something that has been withheld from me... like a hack? or.... haha...gametypes! I heard they are in the documents folder, never knbew there were so many though... Where are slayer and ctf?

awww, titan beat me to it. blam is one of Bungie's favorite phrases besides "Yo' Momma" and something else that i dont remember. those files are gametypes. correct. but what is weird is when i tried switching them, they reset every time i played. i didnt mess with them after that.

Since everyone has pretty much figured out how to get the different gametypes, I decided to post a detailed tutorial on how to get them.

There is another way to get the gametypes, which is to hack the app.

Step 1: The first thing that you need, is to download this .nib file that will let you, in a sense "hack" the game. Get it here.

Step 2: In the Halo Demo folder, there is a thing named "Halo.nib". DO NOT DELETE/REPLACE YOUR OLD .NIB FILE!!!!!!! MOVE that one somewhere else, such as your desktop.

Step 3: Load up Halo, and be amazed.

where are the changes in the game. im cant find anything that allows different game types. and i do know how to get them with the blam files.

Oh sorry. You have to start up Halo while holding down the Command key. That will make Halo notice the different file.

Those ones can't use gametypes.

I made one that allows both gametypes and hacks. Halo has a built in aimbot and this enables it. Also gametypes can be used by checking the check box.
If you can't check them you're a noob!
