Mac Gaming Mods

Okay I have a question. I'm using Eschaton 0.8.1.

I want to mod the active camo in such a way so that when someone picks it up, instead of turning invisible, they trigger some sort of effect (like they glow really obviously or they go a certain colour or something flashes around them etc.). My aim is to make it so that when someone is camo, I can see even more clearly than a normal player, who it is. Help on how I could do this. I'm new to modding so if someone could tell me what swaps I could to to make a cool effect in place of the 'invisible' effect? Thanks.

It's in the Cheat Database! Anyway I found other methods of cheating and can personally testify that cheating will not win over tactics. Ultimately what determines whether you win or lose is your experience and skill, which cannot be gained through cheats. Cheats won't help you know what weapons work best in certain situations, for example.

and along with weapon tactics, you do need skill. Cheats help. And it makes it more fun against noobs who don't have the mod.

It's that rasterizer setting, and there are other settings in the matg globals meta, I think. You're in the right place if you look there. Also check out the bitmaps related to that rasterizer.

Amen. So uhm, someone mentioned the cheats database. Can someone post a link. I'm such a noob...lol. Okay I've found that tag but I wanna know what you guys recommend swapping it for to make it obvious that the guy in front of me is camo. Or at least, he thinks he is. Lol.

Anyway, I don't really recommend swapping it. Just go to weapons and set all weapons to 1 active camo damage, so the moment someone shoots, they'll become visible.

Also, use the glowing spartans effect.

Yeah I think I might have to use that glowing spartan effect. Seeing I know where to find the tags. Any more suggestions. I'm about to go much around in eschaton and see what I can do, and I'll post back here if I discover anything thats awesome.

I don't like people who find cheats either. Do not cheat by swapping active camo. Theres a reason Bungie put it there to let us use it. Same goes for the overshield. And people don't "clam" down that easily for a person to use cheats to gain an unfair advantage in gameplay.

I realize that I'm getting flamed now but I only have one more question. Then I'll let this topic die. I want to swap the coop teleport effect in with the one for the active camo. Can someone who has brains (unlike me) just tell me what tags to put it etc. Thanks so much.

I'm not flaming anyone here, i'm merely stating the fact that theres a reason for everything. And though there are about a few hundred ways to cheat, as you mentioned before, "People find ways", why wouldn't they do it then? Why would they stick to the original game rather than cheating (at least, majority of people dont cheat).

And uhh, is there even a effe tag for active camo?
