Well... looks as if Krak is the only one that really knows how to do that... that's get him to make it. I'll try it when I become, "Available". Right now... I'm stoping in between homework... and it's causin' me to get side-tracked..

well, after two tests, the results are unsuccessful. heres what i tried:

Flame Projectile:
-10000 min and max damage radius
-no damage
-no stun or shake

Flamethower:
-Drop trigger lock

so basically it would continuosly shoot fire, which hits everything, but has no damage. would be kinda interesting, but didnt work. if you know why, feel free to use the info and idea.

That's because you were editing the projectile. The projectile itself is actually invisible. The flame is an effect.

In ASCII that would translate too "effe" if you didn't know that already. I suggest rooting through the different effect 16 byte codes for the flame. (And if someone could post a list of all the effect 16 byte codes for bloodgulch in the Dev Board, that would be great. I'm currently buried under a mountain of homework so I can't figure out the effect 16 byte codes myself....)

yes, but kraken, when the projectile hits something, the flame effects on the object happens. thats probably why it crashes. it cant handle flames constantly hitting every object in bloodgulch at once. plus, that shouldnt crash it by what your saying. it should just not work, but i think it does and my computer cant handle the lag...

umm...not that i can do it, but as anyone thought of like a hell themed gulch. you know, have bridges over flaming grounds that will kill you if you fall in? and see if you can make it so that the weapons are replaced by pitchforks? you could do the same thing as the guy who did the energy sword mod, but change the model? or i geuss you could do like a heaven v. hell: have teh red base be like the hell i have above, and blue base be like heaven with white mist...but thats a little stupid.

it would be cool, but unfortunatly i dont think that the opposite sides of the canyon can be changed seperatly. i did get this cool "heaven's light" looking thing while trying to do a fire mist mod for the contest. i ended up with just mist, but its still really cool. there was this one bright spot that was misty.

This isn't really related to the contest, but I thought it was pretty cool. I've made my own version of the Scarab gun (not just the one that shoots fuel rods that HELLSPAWN made).

No no, I tried increasing the flame length once. It still looks the same length. You have to change the effect's meta to do something like that. Not sure what to do exactly though.

Meh, I like to change things up a bit every now and then. Can you see that that's a cactus?

yeah, i figured that you couldnt change the sides independently, but you could still just do the flaming earth thing; and i know you do the pitchforks. and hey, in that close-combat mod that guy changed the cyborgs so they were all black, so you could just make them red. then there would be a whole lot of lil' devils runnin' round with pitchforks, stabbing peoples at random. hehehe that sounds fun . really fun . getting paid for playing video game betas fun.
