Only problem is... you're asking the wrong person!Sorry. I really haven't done that many imports. However, I know the problem with the SMG that you're talking about.
I THINK (not positive though) that you have to swap the bitmaps in the shader section in the d-swapper. In soso, I think. Go to the soso tag in the d-swapper, and then look for the shaders that have to do with the SMG. The reason the SMG is messed up is because the demo bitmaps.map file doesn't have all the bitmaps from CE. So, you need to swap the bitmaps in the soso for existing bitmaps. So, just find maybe the bitmaps that make up the metal look of the base, and then swap them in. Then, voila! A metal gun. Or you can experiment with other bitmaps. I'm pretty sure that's what you need to do...
The second problem... not so sure. I really dunno. If you managed to get the model of the SMG in correctly, then I'd guess the models for the other things should have been imported correctly as well... but I'm really not sure...
Can anyone else help out?
