Yeah, but then you have to swap it with scenery or something. Plus, I'm lazy. And think fuel rods are annoying. So I swap it with the fuel rod. I think I'll make a tut on that too cause I'm bored. [TUT] Duplicating an itmc for a new weap without an itmc of it's own because it was orphaned by it's parent itmc because of some accident involving hippos.
1. Recursively export some random itmc. Any will do. Go into the itmc folder and rename the whatever.itmc to what yourweapon.itmc.
2. Recursively import it back. Go into the itmc that you imported in the d-swappa and swap out the weap inside to whatever your new weap is.
3. Go into scnr, choose a random piece of scenery and swap it with the itmc.
4. Where that scenery was, will be the weapon. I think.
