Halo 2 For Mac?
Moderator: Halo Moderators
Tee hee hee. The Simpsons "virus" was this annoying as hell script that attacked Mac OS 9. However, it only targeted MS Outlook or whatever. In other words, if you used the software that it targeted, you deserved for the annoying script to get you. XD

Of course I know, but havent you read what I said?It takes just only responsibility to take care of your computers. If you get a virus its your damn fault.Other than the 28 or 27 known viruses in mac its, pretty much have an immune and almost flawless security system which I love and respect.draconic74 wrote:havnt you seen the mac ads? 114,000 known viruses for windows. none for mac (except those that attack microsoft office)
And pretty much having a windows is like saying why do we mod halo demo and not full. Its fun and we learn things.Well windows in this case, is learning how to take more responsibility to take care of your things, and we have taken preparation to know how to protect our computers in case of a Class 5 virus comes.Unlike mac you dont have to worry about anything other than like making sure no 1 put magnets on your computers or spilling water, but I cant of think everything what to make sure mac is running alright <_<.
But you never know or I never know, mac could one day have a huge flaw like windows had in its security system and have a truckload of viruses.

Tacolism!!
Wrong! There are numerous viruses for the mac, there are none for MacOS X though.draconic74 wrote:havnt you seen the mac ads? 114,000 known viruses for windows. none for mac (except those that attack microsoft office)
Also, just because there aren't any viruses doesn't mean there isn't any malware, OSX still has to watch out for a couple of worms that have been developed. Plus those get-a-mac commercials (while funny) are a load of crap.

Actually, the commercials should say that. But apparantly vast generalizations are just more fun to watch?
Moral of the story: if you don't want viruses or malware get OpenBSD.
