hey people wenever I try to load a map onto any of the modding tools like HMT, or CMP it always gives me this weird message saying that "NilObjectException was not handled. The application must be shut down." any idea what I'm doing wrong?

if every billionaire in the world gave all of their money to every person in the world every person in the world would get around 357 bucks...

by the way how do you reinstall? Whenever I try to play with modded or not moded it doesn't work. I already tried dragging the map into the folder and I only have 1 map in the folder, but it still doesn't let me play... it just does this beeping noise...

HMT doesn't like the demo files, which is why you will need to use a hex editor.($)kurtman wrote:hey people wenever I try to load a map onto any of the modding tools like HMT, or CMP it always gives me this weird message saying that "NilObjectException was not handled. Hey, Monoman...I know I've already made a topic about this, but I'll try asking here...
How do you turn down the sun's light intensity?
I've changed every ligh tag in the map file (There's 39 of them) so that they are the same, and the sun refused to include itself as a ligh tag.
What am I doing wrong?
Or even better, how do I do it right?

Do you mean like in the shaded area on the map?Deox wrote:Hey, Monoman...I know I've already made a topic about this, but I'll try asking here...

Exactly. I want the entire map to be in darkness.Monoman wrote:Do you mean like in the shaded area on the map?Deox wrote:Hey, Monoman...I know I've already made a topic about this, but I'll try asking here...

I remember looking into this sometime back and I think I found that you can not change a tag to achieve that. You have to change the bitmaps.

Hmm...What I'd like to see more is a mod which allows you to ban users. Although, since that involves inserting new code into the file, we would have to do what sword said; edit the file's BSP section. It would be very neat, though, and I am going to pursue this, because I know it is possible.Jonathan wrote:I believe that's just fog.
Can someone please make a mod that prevents a host from quitting?
