1. Moxus' tuts on combining and changing crosshairs.

2. How to make a suicide flashlight.
3. Someone to help me make MC look like a marine. I've got some complications..

moxus i need your tut on crosshairs too if you have time to pm to me... thanks...
and Graveen, if you import that marine and then trade marine tags with cyborg_mp tags you should get the outcome you want... if thats what you did and its not working.. i dont know O.o

And about captain's post: he means is there a possible way to turn a custom model around because it faces the wrong direction in-game.

Tutorial:
Combining two Cross-hairs.
Tool(s)/Application(s) Needed: HHK 1.0.1, Demo Hack 3.0 (2.1 optional), Eschaton 0.6.1, Finder.
Map(s) Needed: Bloodgulch.
Notices: This concept can be applied to any map, not just Bloodgulch.
Steps:
Part 1: Exporting/Importing the Duplicate tag.
- 1. Using Demo Hack, convert your target Bloodgulch.map map to it's full counterpart.
2. Open the map in HHK. Scroll through the list of tags until you reach the "Whpi" tag class. Click the triangle to show the subsequent tags. Search the list of tags until you find the Whpi tag for the weapon you want to have a combined cross-hair. Select the tag.
3. Open the "Tools" dialog, select "Export Meta and References". HHK will now ask you where to save. First, select the Desktop. Do not save yet! Click the "New Folder" button in the bottom-left corner of the save screen. Name the folder "weapons". HHK should now make the folder. If the folder you just created is not selected, select the folder. Click the "New Folder" button again. This time, give it the name of the weapon you are exporting the tags from. Once the folder is created, save the tag inside the folder you just created. Once you're finished, the file-path to these tags should be as follows: Desktop [Folder] --> weapons [Folder] --> (name of weapon)[Folder] --> Files [Files].
4. Move out of HHK and into Finder. Move through the file-path given in step 3 to the files you just exported. They should be called "[name of weapon].whpi" and "[name of weapon].whpi.ehmrf". Change the name of the weapon in both files to "[name of weapon]2".
5. Back in HHK, open the "Tools" dialog again. This time, choose "Import". Select the tags we just re-named. HHK will prompt you with another window. This time, select the Desktop.
6. Save the map, quit HHK, and convert the map back to Demo. We have our Duplicate tag.
Part 2: Combining the cross-hairs.
- 1. Load the Bloodgulch.map that you imported the duplicate tag into in Eschaton. Open the Dependency Swapper tab. Scroll through the tag classes until you reach the "Whpi" tag class. Select the class. There will now be several options in the second portion of the window. Scroll down until you find the original of the tag that you imported. Select it.
2. Now, in the third section of the window, there will be a few tags. The first is a Whpi tag. Swap the tag with the one you just imported (i.e, for the Plasma Rifle, go into the Plasma Rifle's whpi tag, and change the tag mentioned above to the 'Plasma Rifle2' tag that you would have imported).
3. Under the "Eschaton" dialog, select "Preferences." Ensure that Entity-style plug-ins are the ones being used, and click "Apply."
4. Move out of the Dependency Swapper, and scroll down to the "Whpi" tag class. Select either the original or imported whpi tag for the weapon which you want to combine cross-hairs for. In the "Meta Editing" portion of the window should be anywhere between 2 and 6 options. Click the triangle next to "crosshairs", and then the triangle next to "crosshairs: 01". Continue on by clicking the triangle next to "crosshair reflexives."
5. Click on the test "crosshair overlays". You'll now have even more options. Click the triangle next to "Short Integers". 2nd from the bottom of the new list will be "bitmap subindex". Click on it.
6. The number you see is the number referring to the crosshair that that whpi tag is currently using. Change this number and different cross-hairs, depending on the number you chose, will appear in the place of the old one. Use this to customize your cross-hairs. Once you have selected two different cross-hairs, you will have a combination of the two appear on your screen when holding the weapon. Experiment with different combinations for different results.
