how do you convert...

1. Select tag to import.
2. Select the folder which contains the tags that are recursive to the importing tag.
So... it would be...
Folder/otherfolders/tags/tagyouwant
The first folder is the one you want to select.
So, if you export something recursively into a folder onto your desktop called "untitled folder", you will want to select untitled folder as your folder.

So your saying if i want a hoverboard i get hoverboard.vehi(first window) then on the second window i go to vehicles>hoverboard>tags>vehicles>hoverboard?Kayar wrote:1. Select tag to import.

Ok retard Let me put it in photos for you. See Poor Kayar is just not getting through.
Ok you choose this refernce file to import .....

Then a pop-up with another thing comes up.
Then choose this folder to import all tags......

i used Bulldog as example. Also sorry for the picture if it stretches the page.

ok ok jeez
well it finally worked now do i need to Hex it into my map?
cause on Eschaton i cant see hoverboard in vehi tag but in HHK i can oddly i can see three but back to the problem again on HHK i can see hoverboard under then vehi tag but in Eschaton i cant see it under the vehi tag do i need to HexEdit it in?
EDIT:found out how to get it but now when i start a game with this map it quits
P.S. theres another map thing in the maps folder now its called bloodgulch~.map and that one works but doesnt have the new vehicles i put in why?

on mota's tags do i go to wut ever i got Mod2 and get the mod but still its not the vehicles its the whole screen and i found one of the vehicles but it didnt moveKayar wrote:No no no. That's not it. Try and give me a yes or no answer as to whether you made sure the model was imported properly.
To properly import a model, follow the directions in a PMI tutorial. I think there's one stickied here somewhere.
Usually, when importing something, the only time it might make the game crash is if A. You selected the wrong folder/file or B. The model wasn't imported properly.

Heres the problem:you know in somemods that have the SMG its color is all fucked upwell thats like the whole screen for me ecxept in a few places if i look there the screen is fine.
And the second problem I don't know how o get the Modle on the sleep house vehilces and i'm gonna put some weapons in but i still dont know how to get the model good.So how do you?

Sorry. I really haven't done that many imports. However, I know the problem with the SMG that you're talking about.
I THINK (not positive though) that you have to swap the bitmaps in the shader section in the d-swapper. In soso, I think. Go to the soso tag in the d-swapper, and then look for the shaders that have to do with the SMG. The reason the SMG is messed up is because the demo bitmaps.map file doesn't have all the bitmaps from CE. So, you need to swap the bitmaps in the soso for existing bitmaps. So, just find maybe the bitmaps that make up the metal look of the base, and then swap them in. Then, voila! A metal gun. Or you can experiment with other bitmaps. I'm pretty sure that's what you need to do...
The second problem... not so sure. I really dunno. If you managed to get the model of the SMG in correctly, then I'd guess the models for the other things should have been imported correctly as well... but I'm really not sure...
