This is my first mod

Features:

• Assault Rifle does more damage and fires more rapidly.
• Pistol does more damage and fires more rapidly. (Pistols hold a lot of ammo)
• Most of the weapons have more zoom.
• 1 Warthog is replaced with a tank.
• Works in Slayer and CTF
• Start out with a needler in slayer which fires more rapidly.
• The tanks secondary weapon shoots needles
• Fuel Rod Gun is a frag mine layer (watch out they can blow up any minute.)
• Most all weapons have more ammo. (AR can hold up to 999 bullets)
• Banshees fire more rapidly, does more damage, and drops grenades.
• Shotgun shoots more bullets at a time and reloads much faster.
• Banshees move fast through the air
• Plasma Rifle does more damage and shoots more plasma beams.


Bugs:
• In the cave where the flamethrower is there will be over 15 ghosts, but they dont work they only fire and when you get out the ghosts they still fire.
• If there is lag (over 400 ping) the transporters will not work.

Joiners must have the mod to play if they want all the features above.

Wow! That sounds like a pretty cool mod!! I hope you have good luck with it. I havent seen the screenshots because my internet is loading slow, but the description sounds awesome! Have fun, and good luck!

Heh. If this is your first mod... then it blows the hell out'a my first mod. My first mod was a projectile swap between the sniper shell and the tank shell. Heh. Noobiest of all mods, but, it was cool and fun. (Thanks to Beast)

You can't expect the best out of your first mods but it's OK, you are new to the modding world. Same with me, my first mods were swaps and Hex.

I had a little practice with hexedit and the other programs I use, but this is my first mod where I released it to the public. Right now im trying to do conversions with making Halo Maps playable on Halo Demo, but thats very tricky.

lol, Speaking of me and first mods, I think the first mod I ever made was swapping the Warthog for a Scorpion. And I was like "OMFG TANK YAYAYAYAYLOLOLOLOLOLOLYAYAYAYAY!!!!"

What counts is that what Gamer has created here is a work of his own accomplishments and his understandings. Gamer, Halo full to Halo demo map conversions are very difficult, and so far, I have seen NONE. There have been few claims to such accomplishments, however no evidence (as in, no released maps). Be SURE to have a VERY well developed and advanced knowledge of the map file architecture in hex representation. You will achieve absolutely nothing without knowing this. Study the divisions of the map, such as BSP, scenario, metas, reflexives, everything. And learn how to program. (I have dragged behind because still, I have no idea how to develop any sort of automated process that could create maps.)

Im almost done with the conversions, I got it where you can click on it then start the server up then it either crashes or it turns black and goes back to the main menu

I fail to see how exactly that is "almost done."

Unless I am misunderstanding. How far do you get on the loading screen? Does the server fully open? Are you able to enter the game? Do you see the new map? Or does it never get past "Starting Network Server"?
