Getting the elites to attack on bump!
Ok I've imported an elite into bloodgulch so the player can play as an elite with a energy sword in third person. I checked the weapon flag on the energy sword to attack automatically on bump but when you bump an enemy it doesn't do the elite beat down like the gold elite from SC when he bumps the player. Hmmm

The elite beat down is just the AI's melee, as far as I know. (Which looks a lot better as an energy sword instead of a plasma rifle but seems to actually be the same, and the gold elite can also do melee jumps, which only AI can do.) I also don't really know what that flag does, and I believe what you've described is not possible without scripting.

Scripting is not (yet) possible for MP maps. Sparky might be able to find a way of doing somehow, though ...

Check out the Sword weapons in the INCY. A few of the h2_sword's let you jump forward when you melee and the reticle is red.

In this case, Seal, "bump" isn't used to mean a physical collision. It means that something internal has been triggered, or a value passed as 1 (on) over the default 0 (off).
