Questions? Answers?
Hey I was wondering how you can customize the text placement ( I know the top left, "bottem(LOL)" left and center and all that) because I fiddled around with it and now it is all messed up. In eschaton 0.7.2, under HUD globals > Main > Int16s (what does that mean btw) I found MeP anchor offsets but they seem to have no effect on the MeP anchors (HUD globals > main > Enum 16s(again, what does it stand for))
Also, is there a TuT for 3rd person halo?
Also (again), last time I used Hex, I got the .map~, and that is the modded map (not just the HEX mod, but other mods, too, that happened before)
And, finally, in swordedit, for the object spawner, how do I actually get the object in my map?

Here ya go. A tip. Create one big topic instead of 50 different topics. We will be happy to answer your questions if you at least put them in one place.

Re: Questions? Answers?
that's what he just did. <_< yay!
text placement: what?! what did you change! look in hudg! o_o
3rd person: no. there is a cheat that taxi could never make work. <_< ask PPC users!
.map~: yeah, it is a backup that hexedit automatically creates. <_< you can disable this option in its preferences IIRC.
adding objects: what do you mean? <_< spawning an already existing object that's in BG? (like a log)
duplicating an already spawned object? (like whatever tree or rock?)
or adding an object from another map and then spawning it?

Re: Questions? Answers?
For the spawning, I want to get a log in there. To the best of my knowledge there are no logs in BG, and I cant figure out how to get one in...
and for the text editing, the hudg... yeah... I moved it around, so now its all weird... like way, WAY above where it should be (its by my weapon data now) and I just want to know how I can customize its place via x and y intercepts.
Oh other OT question: I go to upload a beta, but where do I upload

uhm... to get a log in there you must... uhm... - open your map in swordedit,
- after it loaded, in the bottom-right corner of the window there will be a button. it says "Spawn Creation Editor"; click it.
- a window should pop up. under the Inactive Scenery menu highlight the scen you want, and then hit the "Activate Scenery" button.
- now that scen should be active and swappable normally. ^.^
for text editing:
- eschaton.
- hudg > ui/hud/default
- int16s > MeP - anchor offset x and y? o_o isn't that what you're searching for? their normal values are x = 0 and y = 60. <.<
to upload use filefront or mediafire. don't need to register, but it helps @_@

Re: Questions? Answers?
Ok, I'll try filefront. Thanks.
As far as the anchor x and y go, no matter what I did, they would not change the placement of the text.
And for swordedit, I hit that, but I assume I should be in the translation mode?
oops..
Finally, does force affect all objects or just players? and what would a high force value (i.e. knock you across the map) be?

Ok, cool.
Back to the other question... I still cannot seem to move the text, with the x and y anchor changes

Re: Questions? Answers?
hudg -> (starter entity plugins) -> Int16 -> MeP anchor offsets x and y
I think the values are in pixels from wherever the anchor location is set under "Enum16s -> MeP - anchor" right above that.
