GRd crashing when players fire at end - can anything be done

OK we all know this problem...

You know, you have a fantastic game - you just know you've got a great score. The game ends and KA-BOOM...

Out crashes GRd from GameRanger because some idiot fired at the end of the game!

Now I have two theories about this:

1) It's done by novice players who don't know about this bug in GRd...AND...

2) It's done deliberately by disgruntled loosers who know they've just had a good kicking and want to spoil YOUR enjoyment of a fantastic score!



So, can anything be done about this?

Has anyone ever tried to solve this bug?

Or, is there a means of retrieving the scores after the crash?

Nothing can be done about the bug. Although you can still retrieve everyone's score after a crash by going into your Ghost Recon Demo Data folder and opening up missionstats.htm. That file will show all of the scores you would normally see on the after screen.

GhRd crashes, regardless. Not firing won't keep it working, and firing won't necesserily crash. It's just unstable.
